Mindfulness is the practice of moment-to-moment awareness of sensations, thoughts, and feelings. The concept is to allow your thoughts, senses, and feelings to come and go without judgment. Mindfulness is good for managing anxiety because it enables you to be present and notice what is happening in your mind and body rather than reacting instinctively without thought. You can apply mindfulness strategies such as breathing, guided meditation, or grounding exercises to help bring you into the present moment instead of worrying about the past or the future.
